Vegan Spinach Berry Flax seed Smoothie

Know What You Eat:Thinking creative ways to incorporate greens into kids diet, this spinach berry smoothie recipe  is a great way to slip healthy spinach and flax seed meal into your loved one's diet. It is healthy and satisfying and you will benefit from the antioxidants (berries), omega-3's and fiber (flax meal), potassium (banana) and the numerous benefits of spinach (to name a few - vitamin K, A, C, B2, B6, E, folate, iron, calcium, potassium & fiber). Also by combining the berries (Vitamin C) with the spinach (iron) you are allowing for more absorption of iron from the spinach.Trust me kids will love this combination just with this visual presentation and it will be gone in a minute.

Super Nutritious Berry Smoothie

Berries! Healthy, Delicious, and Low Carb

Know What you Eat : I love berry season! Besides being delicious, berries are one of the best nutritional bargains around. Low in fat, carbs, and calories, but high in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, these yummy nuggets of flavor not only contribute to overall health, but may even help prevent cancer and heart disease, as well as slowing the aging process. And thanks to the freezer, we can have the advantages of berries year-round. Many of these phytonutrients (such as anthocyanins, quercetin, and ellagic acid) have an antioxidant effect: They counter the natural oxidation in the body that contributes to aging of the tissues and many degenerative illnesses such as cancer, dementia, and damage to the arteries.

Ginger is known to have more than twelve types of anti-oxidants, making it useful for treatment of many disorders, like Anticoagulant, Aphrodisiac effect, Cold,Cough,Digestive disorder,Fatigue,Flatulence/wind,Impotency,Inflammations,Menstruation disorders,Morning sickness, Pain killer.

Honey: When mixing honey in any of your juices, always usenatural raw honey. One way to test that your bottle of honey is raw ... put it into the refrigerator overnight. If it hardens the next day, it means that it has more sugarthan honey. If it remains liquid, you have got yournatural raw honey.
